Baseball Recruiting Insider exists to help players and families understand and navigate the college baseball recruiting process.

As a longtime baseball coach with more than 40 years of coaching experience, I have helped hundreds of players move on to college baseball. I run a respected, long-time select baseball organization that was founded in 1996, and one of the things I enjoy best about working with high school athletes and their families is helping players realize their dream of playing collegiate baseball.
Over the years, I’ve also seen many, many players who were capable of playing in college but failed to do so, usually because they made one or more common mistakes:
They did not understand the recruiting process.
They did not understand how college coaches would evaluate them.
They did not understand which schools would be interested, or why.
As a result, they failed to target schools most likely to recruit them.
They did not know how to develop a realistic plan.
Or, they failed to be proactive.
